Landscape Photography Meets Washington Wine at Quiddity Wines
I’m excited to share that 11 of my landscape photographs are now on display at Quiddity Wines in Woodinville, Washington, through the end of November.
This collection brings together some of the landscapes I’ve been most drawn to photograph, printed on metal to showcase the color, detail, depth, and light within each scene. From dramatic mountain landscapes to the quieter details of the Pacific Northwest, the collection is an opportunity to experience these photographs in person and at a scale that is difficult to appreciate on a screen.
11 Photographs, Each Part of a Limited Edition
Every piece on display at Quiddity is a limited edition metal print, with only 100 prints available across the edition.
I spend a great deal of time refining each photograph before it ever becomes a finished piece of artwork. The final print is part of the creative process for me. Metal is particularly beautiful for images with rich color, luminous light, and fine detail, giving the photograph a striking presence while still allowing the landscape itself to remain the focus.
If you have been considering adding one of my photographs to your home or office, visiting Quiddity is a wonderful opportunity to see a selection of my work in person. You can experience the scale, surface, color, and detail of a finished print before deciding which image might be right for your own space.
And because each photograph is part of an edition of only 100, once an edition is sold out, it will not be produced again.
Make an Afternoon of It
Of course, the artwork is only half the reason to visit.
Quiddity Wines is a small, family-owned winery in Woodinville’s Warehouse Winery District with an especially approachable philosophy about wine. Owner and winemaker Greg Peiker focuses heavily on Rhône varietals and creates wines intended to showcase the character of the grapes without making the tasting experience feel overly formal or intimidating.
That makes this exhibit a pairing I especially enjoy: locally made Washington wine surrounded by landscape photography inspired largely by Washington and the Pacific Northwest.
Come in, order a tasting, spend some time with the photographs, and discover a wine you might want to take home with you too. Quiddity currently offers five-wine tasting flights for $15, with the tasting fee applicable toward the purchase of a bottle. Their current options include mixed and red-only flights, along with a wine and chocolate pairing when available.
If you find a photograph you love while you’re there, my limited-edition prints are also available for purchase. Seeing fine-art photography in person is completely different from viewing it online, and I hope this exhibit gives you a chance to imagine one of these landscapes living on your own walls.
